Louisville Metro Councilmen Glen Stuckel and Kelly Downard will host a Louisville Metro Animal Services "SPOT" Clinic on Saturday, July 18th at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in eastern Louisville.  The hours will be 9:00am - 12:00pm

SPOT is a low cost clinic to make sure your pets are protected!  Metro Animal Services’ staff veterinarian will administer rabies vaccines and implant microchips at affordable prices!

Citizens can also license their pets. Licensing your pet is extremely important and it’s the law. If you ever lose your pet, licensing can help you be reunited. License numbers provide MAS staff with your contact information. If a Metro Animal Control Officer finds a roaming dog or cat with a license, the officer may be able to provide your pet a free ride home.

·        License*: $9.50/ $50.50 (unaltered pets)

·        Rabies: $8 (1 year)

·        Microchips: $25

*Senior citizens receive a discount on license fees

Look for the Metro Animal Services SPOT Van in the parking lot outside the park's main building located at 3000 Freys Hill Rd., Louisville, KY 40241.
