Image result for clip art survey

We received 54 responses to the parking survey to date, representing 45 Westwood households.  The majority of respondents do not perceive any parking problems in Westwood and are strongly opposed to parking restrictions.  Of the responses, 65% reported they do not experience parking problems in Westwood, and 35% reported they experience parking problems in Westwood.  The most-reported parking problems are cars parked directly across from one’s driveway or parked near stop signs/intersections.

After reviewing the data at the June 6, 2017 Board of Commissioners meeting, the Board will not implement parking restrictions.  Nancy Vinsel provided Westwood’s security officers with the survey results; their patrols will include additional focus on identified issues and areas.

Dessert,drinks, friendship and garden talk

Many years ago a group of Westwood women started a garden club. It was fun for a while, then it phased out. Well, now it is being resurrected. We are inviting all gardeners and wannabe gardeners to join us for an informal gathering to brainstorm what a new club might look like. COME! Let's build community. This could be a good way to nurture budding friendships and learn from the wise gardeners in our midst.
RSVP encouraged but not required, just "come grow with us"
